Warami 2020

By Discover Parramatta

WARAMI - a Darug word meaning ‘good to see you’

2020 marks the second season of WARAMI, a festival commemorating Indigenous culture in Parramatta through a series of fun, educational and interactive online activities from 26 May to 5 July

For over 60,000 years the Burramattagal people have called Parramatta home. WARAMI recognises and celebrates their continued connection to the land and community. Parramatta always was and always will be a gathering place.
