Visitor Information Centre
In response to the NSW Government’s staged easing of COVID-19 restrictions, the Parramatta Heritage & Visitor Information Centre is now open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10am–3pm. There will be a limit of 20 customers in this facility at any one time. Please follow the guidance of staff when you visit.
The Research Library will be open to the public for timed visits as well as for pre-arranged appointments. To arrange appointments please phone 8839 3322 or email email@example.com.
The Parramatta Visitor Information Centre’s friendly staff provide a unique starting point for discovering Parramatta - the city that tells the story of Australia. The City of Parramatta’s Hosts & Guides are based here offering a wealth of information to help you to plan your visit in and around Parramatta.
The Visitor Information Centre also runs school holiday programs and education activities and sits alongside a local research and family history library, Council’s archives and cultural collections.

Research & Collection Services manages, preserves and documents the history of our local government and the people, places, art, events, and natural and built environments which have contributed to the rich history of Parramatta’s communities.
